The Daikin KRCS01-1 is a precision-calibrated remote ambient temperature sensor designed to optimise thermal comfort across Daikin heat pump and air conditioning systems. When indoor wall units, ceiling cassettes, or concealed ducted units are mounted at high elevations or in alcoves, onboard thermistors may register inaccurate room temperatures. Installing the discreet KRCS01-1 sensor at breathing height provides the master system PCB with true occupant-level readings, eliminating temperature stratification, hot heads, and cold feet. Finished in an unobtrusive neutral white housing, this sensor mounts easily onto internal walls or standard UK dry-lining boxes. Connecting directly via low-voltage signal wiring, it enhances overall system modulating efficiency, reduces unnecessary compressor ramping, and ensures the living space maintains genuine steady-state comfort throughout the year.
