Combining high-performance 12000 BTU heating and cooling with active air sanitisation, the Sharp AY-XP12HR inverter split system creates an exceptionally comfortable and hygienic living environment. At its core, Sharp's proprietary Plasmacluster ion generator cleanses circulating air of airborne allergens, mould spores, and unpleasant smells while the DC inverter heat pump regulates room warmth and cooling. Coanda airflow distribution directs chilled air across the ceiling line to prevent chilly downward draughts, while directing warmth straight down to the room floor during heating cycles. The indoor unit operates with whisper-quiet sound dampening, making it well-suited for bedrooms, home offices, and living rooms. Additional features include an anti-bacterial washable mesh filter, 24-hour programme timer, Super Jet rapid cooling mode, and an auto-clean function that dries the internal heat exchanger after use to hinder mould accumulation.
